Women Only – Handgun Maintenance

This is a class for ladies only who want to learn how to clean and maintain their handgun that they carry for personal defense.  An improperly maintained and cleaned handgun may not be of any use to you if it does not function as intended.  One sure way to prevent that from happening is to learn how to clean and maintain the handgun that you carry to protect your life.

Students will learn how to field strip their handgun and how to properly clean it and lubricate it.  Students will also learn how to check their ammunition and learn how long they should carry it in their handguns.  Ammunition needs to be rotated out of the gun every so often and shot as practice ammo so that you will have fresh, viable ammo for your personal defense.

Each student will be given a Cleaning & Maintenance sheet that will help to remind you how to field strip your weapon and how to clean and lubricate it.  HARD TARGET will also offer suggestions concerning the brand names of cleaning solvents, lubrication, and other gun maintenance items.  The students will receive a list of supplies for their gun cleaning kit.

This training usually takes place on Saturdays, from 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM.
