Team Tactics

Would you like to learn how law enforcement officers work in teams and clear rooms?  You and your buddy or your significant other can sign up for this training as a team.  You will learn how to clear rooms as a team, how to make dynamic room entries as a team, and how to defeat the bad guys as a team.  If nothing else, this is just a fun class to take and pretend to be a SWAT Team member going in after the dangerous felon, but do not be fooled; there are very important reasons to learn these skills.

Many houses separate the master bedroom from the other bedrooms in the house by putting them on opposite ends of the house.  So imagine this scenario, your children are home, or grand children, or guests are in these rooms and you suffer a break-in to your home.  You feel compelled to get to your children to keep them safe, but you must maneuver through your house from one room to another until you get to the kids room.  If you have never done this before, you do not want your first time to be on the job learning.  You will be thrilled that you have some experience at doing this should you ever have to do it for real.

This class will teach you how to cover for each other as you move through the house quickly and decisively.   There is no room for hesitation and freezing from fear when your kids are in jeopardy.  Law enforcement personnel will tell you that you should not attempt to clear your house room by room and I completely agree with that statement.

However, someone has to take care of you and your kids between the 911 call and when the police arrive.  You may have no other options available to you so why not learn how to move with your partner while clearing rooms.
We will cover room clearing techniques involving multiple suspects and lone suspects.  If you find yourself in this situation you should know this, this is not a good situation to be in and you may pay the ultimate price so you have to make a decision to sit still and wait for the police to arrive or to move to your children’s room and attempt to stand between them and the intruders.

You will need to have a partner for this training, a handgun, holster, mag pouches, about 200 rounds of ammo and hearing and eye protection.  It is also highly recommended that you wear a ball cap and a high neck shirt.  This training is usually conducted at Red Brush Rifle Range on Saturdays from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
