LEO Basic AR15 Skills

Are you a law enforcement officer and do you want to carry an AR15 rifle as your patrol rifle?  This course will certify you to carry your patrol rifle on duty.  This is the exact same training course that Guy Minnis, the Director of Training for HARD TARGET, use to put Evansville police officers through so they could carry the AR15 rifle on duty.  This is an intensive two-day course.

The first day is spent in the classroom learning the ins and outs of the AR15 rifle.  The second day is spent on the range learning how to zero the rifle from the prone shooting position, and then we are off to the races where we cover all of the important gunhandling skills that every AR operator should know and be able to use.  We cover the combat stance, the combat mount, speed shooting, speed reloads, tactical reloads, fixing stoppages, positional shooting, shooting on the move, shooting while using cover, transitioning to your handgun, one hand (left & right) disabled shooting and much, much more.

The AR15 is a terrific weapon system for law enforcement officers and it can be a real life saver.  For you administrators out there that are afraid of over penetration with the .223 round, did you know that the .223 will penetrate less than a .45 ACP round when the proper ammunition is used in the AR platform?  There is actually less of a chance of over penetration with the .223 than there is with pistol calibers like the .45 ACP or the .40 S&W.

A big part of this training is educating the officer so he/she will know what the AR15 can and cannot do.  Take advantage of this training and take advantage of the AR15 weapon system.  It is an awesome patrol rifle for law enforcement.  This is an 8-hour training course.
