LEO Close Quarters Battle – AR15 Skills

As is the case in all Close Quarters Battle (CQB) type classes the operator learns how to fight inside a phone booth, well, at least it may seem that way.  When law enforcement officers go inside of homes, apartments, or other buildings the distances between the suspect and the officer are usually very short.  Sometimes the distances become too short and the officer finds himself/herself in a fight over the weapon.  If the bad guy grabs your rifle, do you know what to do?  Can you defend your rifle and yourself from a gun grab?

HARD TARGET Firearms Training is collaborating with Jeff Westfall of the Rising Phoenix Mixed Martial Arts Academy in Evansville.  Jeff is considered the mixed martial arts guru in the Tri-State area and he has developed gun defense skills that match up perfectly with Guy Minnis’ close retention shooting techniques.  Guy is the Director of Training for HARD TARGET and Guy spent 33 years as a law enforcement officer working for the Evansville Police Department (EPD).  During those years Guy spent 10 years on the SWAT Team, he carried an AR15 rifle on duty, he has been a firearms instructor for 25+ years, and he was the Firearms Training Coordinator for the EPD.

Guy and Jeff offer the most up to date, easy to use, CQB AR class you will find anywhere in our area.  Take advantage of the years of training and experience and sign up for the CQB AR15 Rifle class ASAP.  If you carry an AR15 on duty, this is a must class for all law enforcement officers.  This is an 8-hour training course.
