Although we will talk about defending yourself with a gun, this seminar is not all about using a gun.  This seminar will teach the students how to stay safe in all kinds of situations.  Have you ever been home alone and afraid?  Have you been in your car and been involved in a frightening situation?  How about this, have you been walking out to your car on a deserted parking lot at night and experienced that gut wrenching feeling that someone was watching you?  Have you been in a physically abusive relationship and did not know what to do to protect yourself?

In the 19th Century it was said that, "God made man, but Sam Colt made man equal."  This quotation was attributed to the fact that Sam Colt made a safe and reliable pistol available to the masses.  He was able to mass produce his Colt pistols at a reasonable price so that the average man and woman could afford to buy a handgun for protection.  No matter how big or strong the attacker was, Colt pistols were up to the task of leveling out the playing field.  To this day, nothing takes the place of a gun when you need one.  A gun is nothing more than a tool, and this is one tool that you definitely want to have in your toolbox.

Take back the night!  Learn how you can avoid bad situations and what you can do to protect yourself from predator males.  Every day a woman is beaten, raped, or murdered somewhere in the USA.  Many beatings and rapes are not reported, but nevertheless, they occurred and a victim has been scarred for life.

This seminar will help you to empower yourself and to not be afraid, to learn how to avoid bad situations, and when all else fails – to be able to defend yourself against anyone.  Everyone has the right to defend themselves against a violent attack.  Exercise your right to self defense and never be a victim again.

We will teach the core principles of staying safe: Mind Set, Awareness, Avoidance, De-escalation, Flee, and Fight! When awareness, avoidance, and de-escalation does not work and fleeing the situation is impossible, you can either fight or submit.  If you submit, you will be totally at the mercy of your attacker.  Is that what you want?  I hope not.  If you fight back, will you be able to physically overpower your assailant?  That is not very likely.  This is why the gun is so important.  It gives you options that otherwise, you would not have.  You get to decide if you will be a victim or not if you are armed.
