First Responder - Ditch Medicine Seminar

Dr. Bruce Romick is a local surgeon, friend, and HARD TARGET student.  He has been so gracious as to share his incredible knowledge of trauma type wounds.  Doc Romick is not your average surgeon.  He was a Navy Dive Doctor, he has graduated several wilderness medical seminars, and he goes to Africa on a yearly basis and donates his time and skill helping people.  Doc Romick has seen some horrific trauma type wounds in Africa.  In this seminar Doc Romick covers the basics of how to treat trauma type wounds.

He covers CPR, gunshot wounds, severe bleeding trauma wounds, shock, the use of tourniquets as a last resort He also brings in a First Responder Kit and each student receives a list of things to have in your own First Aid Kit for the home, car, and work.  Do not miss this seminar; it gets better and better with each passing year.  This is one of those seminars that you should put on your calendar and attend on an annual basis.
